Yes. Salty’s is open full hours usually from April to September. Over winter, hours of operation do reduce slightly. See the bottom of the website or Google for up-to-date times.
Booking for food is recommended, particularly at weekends and for Sunday roast, though walk-ins are always welcome at the bar.

Salty’s sources day-boat fresh seafood from the Solent and surrounding British waters wherever possible, but sometimes it depends what the fishermen are able to catch on any given day as well as the season as to what can be served on the plate. There is a lot less fish available throughout winter so sometimes seafood is brought in from further afield but it is always quality.
Yes. Brined free-range chicken, treacle-cured sirloin of beef and roasted pork loin with a ham hock bon bon, all with the trimmings and a very good cauliflower cheese with marmite. Sunday roasts are taken very seriously at Salty’s.
Yes, the team is happy to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements where possible. Please mention them before ordering or when making your booking.
Fish & chips is offered to takeaway upon request, and it is said by many that it’s the best takeaway fish and chips on the island…
Yes. A local-led Isle of Wight menu with fresh seafood and, notably, no turkey. You can find more information on our Christmas page. Note Salty’s is not open for Christmas Day itself.
Yes, live music plays downstairs at Salty’s on Saturdays, alongside changing events which you can find on our what’s on page.
Downstairs is the party: a lively bar with long tables and live music. Upstairs is the restaurant, with linen napkins and delicious food.
Yes, Salty’s is available for private hire, from birthday dinners to full venue takeovers, with capacity for up to 60 seated or 90 standing.
Early enquiries are recommended, particularly for special events, plus Christmas and New Year dates.
Quay Street, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, PO41 0PB, a stone’s throw from Yarmouth harbour. You will see it from the ferry dock.
